When I started the company 20yrs ago, I set out with the sole aim of offering a high standard of work and quality every time. Our working methods may have changed and we have to adapt as industry standards improve and new materials and tooling have become available and we work smarter not harder. External factors may change the way our work is approached, but the one thing that hasn’t changed, is our aim to not only meet client expectations, but to exceed them everytime.

MEET THE EXPERTS
Paul CoyleI have over 20 years experience of ceramic wall and floor tiling in the North East, and have a large portfolio of domestic, commercial and industrial work. I work with stone, including crema marfil, marble, slate, mosaic, and of course ceramics. As well as being a certified Forcrete microcement installer, I'm a certified glass polisher and can remove imperfections caused by numerous factors. An approved Karndean installer, I was delighted to win Karndean’s esteemed award for best floor fitter. I have numerous private domestic clients, while my industrial and commercial clients range from award-winning developers such as Rivergreen Developments plc to local restaurants with the finest reputation, such as the Pavilion at Iveston.
Regan CoylePaul’s son, Regan, has been with the family business for over 10 years. His expertise include all aspects of tiling, sub-floor preparation, stone floor installation, restoration and maintenance. Like his father, Regan is a certified Forcrete microcement installer. He is a certified glass polisher and can remove imperfections, damage and has a broad knowledge of tiling installation, stone installation, restoration and repair. Regan is an approved Karndean luxury flooring installer.
Neil AndrewNeil lives in the Blackpool area and has been Karndeans go to guy. As the head of the technical department at Karndean he wrote both the basic level and advanced training programmes and has carried out the teaching within the training school. A floor layer for over 35 years, he is well respected within the flooring industry. Often flown abroad spreading the Karndean brand, Neil is often in Poland, Canada and beyond. Neil has accepted the role of Director of Technical Services UK for an American based company within the flooring industry.

Between us, we have a combined total of over 60 years’ experience and knowledge.
This experience on the tools,allows us to overcome many problems presented to us and we have used our knowledge to find solutions. Be it old damp floors requiring preparation for new installations, full bathroom conversions, old limestone floors to be restored etc. We have a positive, can do attitude to deliver results that not only meet clients expectations, but exceed them.
I feel being a family-run business demonstrates to clients were here to stay.
When I decided to work for myself in 2004, the aim was always to steadily grow a trustworthy company, to one day hand over to my son Regan.
Regan has been with the company six years nowand progressing extremely well, demonstrating very high company and personal standards. Not only in his workmanship, but other standards including integrity, respect and manners, all required to be successful. Demonstrating this work force is here to stay.
We always try to offer the latest trends and whats hot and in vogue. That in mind, we also realise that many older properties require traditional workmanship and ideas.
A proportion of our work is in historic buildings in Northumberland, where remote control baths and showers are not appropriate, so a more sympathetic approach is needed.
For heritage floors made of sandstone and limestone or travertine, Paul’s team undertake a careful restoration, which can usually take around three days. Once repairs are complete (if any are required), the floors are stripped and deep cleaned – including grout lines. After that, a full diamond polish, several coats of sealer and a final polish ensures the newly-buffed floors gleam
