Bathroom and Wetroom Installation

Bathroom Installation

A bathroom specialist, I (Paul) hone my skills by regularly attending industry-run courses, such as Schlüter's in Leicester. This covered the use of expansion gaps, innovative tile profiles, and wet rooms.

Tanking Kits

Adhesive selection is crucial, particularly in wet areas such as bathrooms, and the use of tanking kits is highly recommended by experienced tilers. A tanking kit is a resin coating applied to the walls to prevent water damage. Water damage can happen without our knowledge over a period of time and usually we only know when a stain appears on the ceiling below. Together with a waterproof rubber seal to all internal corners and above the shower tray or bath, the walls are then tiled and any visible tape is then trimmed off flush with the tiles and siliconed, giving a waterproof seal to the walls.

Bathroom Conversions

Working with our colleagues on bathroom conversions, we cover the following trades, electrician, plumber, plaster, joiner and builder, to ensure a very high standard is achieved and safety is paramount..

Wetrooms

As trends change and our lifestyles become increasingly more hectic, time and what we do with it is of a premium. Wet rooms are very much in demand for modern, spacious wet areas in homes. Architects, property developers and home owners are keen to have safe and fast solutions to meet that demand.

I deliver an innovative and quality product that is suitable for virtually any type of property or bathroom. Simplicity and versatility are the key attributes of a wet room.

Neil and I recently attended Impey UK's training school of excellence in Somerset, the market leaders in wet room products, to keep up to date with correct wet room installation. Despite a 660 mile round trip, we both felt it was necessary in order to continue to achieve best practice.
